Heard Sri.E.A.Ashwin Datha, learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the writ petition papers. 3. We have today dispensed notice to respondent taking note of the prayer of the petitioner. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:18736-DB WP No. 12407 of 2025 4. From the writ petition papers, it is seen that the petitioner presented appeal before the Commission on 24.08.2023 and notice to the respondents was ordered by the Commission on 19.09.2023. The respondents have appeared through their counsel and counsel for the respondents filed vakalath on 01.04.2024. At present, the appeal stands listed to 04.07.2025 for ‘Argument of the parties’. It is for the Commission to dispose of the appeal in a time bound manner as prescribed under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and also Rules made there under. 5. In that view of the matter, we are sure that the Commission on the next date of hearing i.e., on 04.07.2025 would hear the matter and dispose of the same early.
