1. Heard Ms. M. Hazarika, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Mr. D. Khan,
learned counsel for the accused applicant. Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Addl.Public Prosecutor for the respondent.
2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 for granting of pre-arrest bail to the accused applicant namely, Gautam Agarwal in connection with Basistha PS Case No. 469/2025 under Sections 305(e)/317(2)/61(2) of the BNS, 2023.

3. The allegation against the accused applicant is that the accused applicant is involved in some illegal transportation of PDS rice meant for general public from Barpeta to Meghalaya in a truck bearing registration No.AS01PC5964. It was alleged that during checking, the said truck was intercepted and 600 bags of PDS rice were recovered from the driver of the truck.
4. A coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 26.09.2025 has allowed the accused applicant to go on interim bail.

The learned Senior Counsel for the accused applicant submits that in terms of the aforesaid order dated 26.09.2025, the accused applicant has already appeared before the I.O. and got his statements recorded and he is fully cooperating with the investigation in the matter and as such, she submits that the interim bail should be made absolute.
6. The learned Addl.Public Prosecutor for the respondent State submits that the accused applicant has appeared and he is co-operating with the investigation.
7. In view of the aforesaid submission, this Court is of the considered view that the instant case should be made absolute. Accordingly, the interim bail is hereby made absolute.
8. The anticipatory bail application stands disposed of.
