Also heard Mr A Bhattacharjee, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 and 2; and Ms M Barman, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the other respondents. 2. Mr Baruah, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the subject matter of this writ petition has already been answered by this Court through the Judgment and Order dated 24.06.2025, passed in WP(C) No. 1013/2025. A copy of the said order has been supplied to Mr A Bhattacharjee and he has gone through the same and has submitted that the matter may be relegated to the Deputy Commissioner, for doing the needful, and if required, they will obtain approval from the Revenue Department, as directed by the aforesaid order. 3. In view of the consensus arrived at by the parties, this writ petition is closed by directing the District Commissioner, Dibrugarh, to do the needful so far relating to the application of the petitioner for transfer of subject land, in term of the Notification dated 26.03.2001, within a period of four weeks from the receipt of certified copy of this order to be furnished by the petitioner before the District Commissioner, Dibrugarh. Thereafter, within a period of six weeks from the receipt of a report from the District Page No.# 3/3 Commissioner, the competent authorities in the Revenue Department shall consider such proposal and decide the same. The petitioner is also permitted to file representation before the Competent Authority, empowered to grant such approval. 4. Writ petition accordingly, stands disposed of. 5. No cost(s).
