This application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the accused/petitioner, namely, Asmot Ali, praying for grant of bail in connection with Pathsala P.S. Case No.162/2025, registered u/s 137(2)/87 of BNS, 2023. 3. As per the allegations contained in the FIR, the victim, who is a major aged above 20 years, has been missing from her home and it was suspected that the present petitioner, with whom the victim was having a love relationship, had abducted her and concealed her in an unknown place. 4. Vide order dated 02.12.2025, the petitioner was granted interim regular bail for the reason stated in para-5 thereof that - no role has been attributed to the additional in the FIR. 5. Drawing attention to para-5, Mr. Ahmed, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the girl is a major and she has eloped with Amit Hussain, pursuant to their love affair. 6. The case diary has been received and the learned Addl. P.P. submits that the investigation has shown that he assisted the said Amit Hussain in eloping with his with the girl. As per the FIR, the girl is aged 20 years. 7. In the given circumstances, it may not be necessary to cancel this interim bail. Accordingly, the same is hereby made absolute subject to the following conditions that the petitioner: (i) shall continue rendering co-operation to the investigation, appear before the I/O again, if necessary.
