2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Angara P.S. Case No. 102 of 2023 corresponding to G.R. No. 2666 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 419, 420, 423, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Ms. Ila Kandpal, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ranchi.
3. Petitioner is alleged to have purchased 12 decimals of land appertaining to Khata No. 12, part of Plot No. 408 in Mouza Turup, District Ranchi from one Pawan Kumar who claims himself to be the power of attorney holder of the land owner Aparna Kumari Vishwakarma. It appears that the possession of the land in question after registration of the sale deed was not delivered to the petitioner.
4. Mr. R.S. Mazumdar, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, submitted that the petitioner himself has become the victim of deceit as Pawan Kumar has claimed himself to be the actual power of attorney holder of the land owner. But later on, it transpired that the power of attorney was never executed by the actual land owner.
5. Supplementary affidavit has been filed on behalf of the son of the petitioner, stating therein that the petitioner will not claim the ownership of the purchased land, nor he will take possession of the same.
6. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is
directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to
