This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Page No.# 2/2 Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, whereby the petitioners, namely, Prasanta Nath @ Prasanta Kr. Nath and Kapil Nath, have prayed for granting pre-arrest bail, apprehending arrest in connection with Tezpur P.S. Case No. 457/2025 under Section 308(5)/351(2)/3(5) of BNS, 2023. 3. The F.I.R. dated 21.06.2025 reveals that the petitioners along with another accused person went to the Sand Mining, located at Panch Mile and threatened the informant saying that the informant has been doing various contract works and that he should pay Rupees One Lakh otherwise at the behest of the accused No.1, who was alleged to be an RTI activist, the victim would be incarcerated inside jail with further threatening that if some action is taken by the informant, he would be killed. 4. The case diary has not been received. 5. The petitioner was granted interim protection vide order dated 26.08.2025. 6. It is submitted by the learned Addl.P.P. that in the meantime, investigation has completed in the case and resulting in a charge sheet. 7. In view of the completion of investigation, the interim bail granted to the petitioners vide order dated 26.08.2025 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions – that the petitioners shall be available for the trial, if one commences and shall co-operate with the process of law. 8.
