1. Heard Ms. N. S. Thakuria, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. K. K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam.
2. This application has been filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, in respect Hajo P.S. Case No.468/2025, under Sections 118(2)/3(5)/304(2) of the BNS Act, 2023.
3. The petitioners aged about 20 years and 18 years had caused injuries to another 17 year old boy with blade, the victim sustained some injuries.
4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel from both sides.
5. Both the petitioners are young, therefore this Court has decided that for this offence the petitioners do not deserve to be detained in custody.
6. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioners is allowed.
7. It is hereby directed that in the event of arrest in connection with Hajo P.S. Case No.468/2025, the petitioners, Hirak Jyoti Kalita @ Hirak Kalita and Suman Kallita shall be released on bail of Rs.25,000/- each with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority.
8. With the aforesaid direction, this anticipatory bail application of the petitioners stands disposed of.
