GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following: ORDER Heard Sri K.Hari Kishan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Smt.Naga Chandrika, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance for the 1st respondent, and Sri B.V. Satyanarayana, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents 2 and 3. 2. The petitioner’s son died on 11.05.2021 due to a lightning strike. The Government issued G.O.Rt.No.9 Revenue (D.M-I) Department, dated 15.02.2025, granting ex gratia of Rs.4,00,000/-. However, the said ex gratia amount has not been paid. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance would submit that in pursuance of G.O.Rt.No.9 dated 15.02.2025, the bill for an amount of Rs.4,00,000/- was uploaded in the CFMS portal vide Bill No.2025-993038 and the same is waiting for fund clearance. The Learned Government Pleader would further submit that the funds will be cleared within 8 weeks. 4. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to release the amount of Rs.4,00,000/- towards ex gratia granted according to G.O.Rt.No.9 dated 15.02.2025 in two months from the date of receipt of the copy of the order.
