GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following ORDER: Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents 1 to 4. Notice in respect of the 5th respondent is dispensed with since no adverse order is passed affecting his rights and interests. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners made a representation dated 21.03.2025 (Ex.P.1) to the 3rd respondent 3 regarding rectification of the entries in the Record of Rights. The 3rd respondent issued notice to the petitioner as well as to the 5th respondent. However, the respondents’ authorities have not acted upon the said representation. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions of the Tahsildar, Badvel Mandal, dated 15.07.2025, would submit that the respondents will pass appropriate orders on the representation made by the petitioners as per the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Lands and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, and the Rules made thereunder. 4. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, without touching the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of learned counsel on either side directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation dated 21.03.2025 made by the petitioner keeping in view the judgment reported in J.Krishnamachari vs. State of A.P represented by District Collector1 and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible. No order as to costs.
