At the outset, counsel for the respondents submits that respondent No. 4 was elected as Sarpanch for the term commencing from 2015 and ending in 2020. Counsel submits that said period of the respondent No. 4 has already been completed, hence under the changed circumstances, no cause of action survives with the petitioner to continue with this petition and the present petition has become infructuous.
