GUNESHWAR SHARMA ORDER 28.11.2025 [1] Heard Md. Sahidur Rahman, learned counsel for the applicant/ writ petitioner and Mr. Y. Ashang, learned GA assisted by Mrs. RK. Emily, learned Dy. GA on behalf of the State respondents. [2] By the present application, the applicant/writ petitioner is approaching this Court for correcting typographical mistake in para no. 2 (2nd line) of order dated 06.11.2025 passed by this Court in W.P. (C) No. 678 of 2018 thereby, permitting the LR of the original writ petitioner to submit Ph.D degree or equivalent published work to the Director, Higher & Technical Education, Govt. of Manipur within a period of 1(one) month and the State respondents were directed to consider and dispose of within 2(two) months from the date of submission of the necessary documents. [3] It is submitted that due to the typographical mistake in para no. 2 (2nd line) about the date of the initial appointment order, the document as permitted could not be furnished. It is prayed that the order dated 29.11.2025 occurring in 2nd line of para no. 2 of order dated 06.11.2025 in W.P. (C) No. 678 of 2018 be corrected as 29.11.1988 and by doing so, there will be no change in the merit and context of the order. [5] This Court has perused the materials on record. On perusing the contents of para no. 2 (2nd line), the order dated 29.11.2025 as the initial date of appointment is a typographical error and it should be read as 29.11.1988. In the circumstances, the application is allowed and the date recorded as 29.11.2025 in para no. 2 (2nd line) of order dated 06.11.2025 in W.P. (C) No. 678 of 2018 be read as 29.11.1988. [6] In the circumstances, the para no. 20 of the order dated 06.11.2025 in W.P. (C) No. 678 of 2018 is read as “the date for submission of documents within a period of 1(one) month shall be counted form the date of this order i.e. 28.11.2025 and upon the submissions of the relevant documents by the LR of the writ petitioner, the State respondents shall consider and dispose of the representation within a period of 2(two) months from the date of receipt of the necessary documents from the LR of the petitioner” and the said para no. 20 of the order dated 06.11.2025 is reproduced below: “[20] In the circumstances, the LR of the writ petitioner may submit relevant documents with respect to Ph.D. degree or equivalent published work or any other documents to the Director, Higher & Technical Education, Govt. of Manipur within a period of 1(one) month and the representation of the writ petitioner shall be considered within a period of 2(two) months from the date of receipt of the necessary documents from the LR of the petitioner.” [7] The MC(W.P.
