By means of the present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the applicant has sought for a suitable direction to the learned Special Judge, SC/ST Act, Gangster Act/Additional District Judge, Fast Track Court No. 2, Ghazipur to decide the Criminal Case No.380 of 2023 titled State v. Nazma Khatun, under section 16(2) of the U.P. Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, Police Station Kotwali Ghazipur, District Ghazipur within stipulated time. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that under section 15 of the Gangsters Act, the District Magistrate, Ghazipur has referred the inquiry as contemplated under section 16 of the Act to the court of learned Special Court (Gangsters Act) on 26.12.2023, since then the inquiry is pending consideration before the court, but no progress has been made so far. Learned counsel further submits that a direction may be issued to the concerned Court to decide the same within some specific time frame. 4. The instant application is disposed of with a direction to learned Special Judge, SC/ST Act, Gangster Act/Additional District Judge, Fast Track Court No. 2, Ghazipur to consider and decide the Criminal Case No.380 of 2023 titled State v. Nazma Khatun, under section 16(2) of the U.P. Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, Police Station Kotwali Ghazipur, District Ghazipur, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order.
