BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR MEDHI ORDER 13.12.2025 Parties are present along with their learned counsel. This second appeal by the defendant is directed against the judgment and decree dated 24.08.2017 passed by the learned Addl. District Judge (FTC), Darrang, Mangaldoi in Title Appeal No. 3/2015.
Page No.# 3/3 The appellant was the defendant in the suit which was initially dismissed. However, in the first appeal preferred by the plaintiffs, the same was decreed in favour of the plaintiffs and the present second appeal has been preferred against the judgment and decree of the First Appellate Court. The parties present before this Court have expressed that the dispute being a family dispute has been amicably settled and they do not have any existing grievances. In view of the above, the appeal stands disposed of. A copy of the memorandum of settlement has also been placed before this Court which is made a part of the records. Send back the TCR.
