With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is Digitally signed by VIJAY BHARATRAO PEKDE 2 / 3 heard finally. 2. The instant petition has been preferred by the petitioner challenging the action of respondent authorities in demolishing the petitioner’s boundary wall and fencing on his land bearing Kh. No. 331/2, area 0.3720 hectares and Kh. No.330 admeasuring area 0.1420 hectares and Kh. No. 332/5 admeasuring area 0.0240 hectares, along Ghotihya Road, Kawardha on 23.04.2025, for road widening. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Public Works Department is carrying the work of road widening and the respondent authorities have demolished the fencing and boundary wall of the house of the petitioner but no compensation has been awarded to the petitioner. The only submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that respondent authorities may be directed to award compensation to the petitioner. 4. On the other hand, learned State counsel submits that on petitioner’s filing a representation raising his grievance, the same shall be considered in accordance with law. 5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the instant petition is disposed off with direction to the petitioner to file a representation for compensation as per law/rules/regulations before the respondent authorities, who in turn, shall consider and decide the representation of the petitioner as per prevailing law/rules and regulations. 6. With the aforesaid direction, the petition stands disposed of. 7.
