Thus, the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption ‘for dismissal’, despite the same, there is no appearance for the petitioner. 2. The writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioner for the post of Junior Assistant, under Clause (d) of method of Recruitment in Section-F, Class III services of APSRTC Recruitment Regulations 2004. 3. The principal grievance of the petitioner is with regard to not promoting the petitioner as Junior Assistant. 4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for APSRTC submits that the petitioner was promoted to Senior Assistant, Finance Department, Executive Directorate Office, Vijayawada and the petitioner is going to retire from the service on 31.03.2025. Thus, the matter becomes infructuous. 5. Recording the above said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
