Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No. 136/2024,Corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 18/2024, registered under Sections 308(3)/ 61(3)(5) of the B.N.S. and Sections 17/ 18/ 20 (b) (ii) (B) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Latehar. On 22.09.2024 at about 07:20 P.M., Chandwa police apprehended the petitioner alongwith the accused persons and from their possession cannabis and opium were recovered. It was submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and this fact has been mentioned at paragraph 18 of this bail application. It appears that similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by this court vide B.A. No. 11057/2024. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Latehar in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No. 136/2024,Corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 18/2024.
