GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following ORDER: Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for the respondents 1 to 6. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been in occupation and continuous cultivation of land admeasuring Ac.2.00 cents in Survey No.297 of Tutipala Village, Makavarapalem Mandal, Anakapalli District, for the past 30 years. It is further submitted that the petitioner has no alternative source of livelihood other than the said land. The petitioner made a representation dated 27.06.2025 (Ex.P.1) to respondents 2 and 3, requesting consideration of his case for the grant of a patta. However, the said 3 representation has not been considered by the authorities. Hence, the present writ petition. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that an Assessment Committee was constituted under G.O.Ms.No.104, Revenue (Lands.I) Department, dated 27.03.2025. Subsequently, the Special Chief Secretary to the Government reconstituted the District Level Assignment Review Committee with the following composition: 1. District In-charge Minister – Chairman 2. Concerned District Minister(s) – Member(s) 3. Joint Collector – Member-Convenor 4. MLCs representing the concerned constituency – Special Invitees 5. MLA of the concerned Assembly Constituency – Member 6. RDO/Sub-Collector concerned – Member The 3rd respondent–Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) shall place the representation made by the petitioner before the Committee as and when it is constituted. 4. Given the facts and circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of learned counsel on either side directing the learned 3rd respondent to place the representation dated 27.06.2025 Ex.P.1 made by the petitioner before the Assessment Committee as and when it is constituted. The learned Committee shall take appropriate action strictly as per the law. No order as to costs.
