2. This application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the petitioner, namely, Churamani Singha, seeking pre- arrest bail in connection with Silchar P.S Case No. 584/2025 registered under Sections 111(3)/111(4)/111(5)/ 111(6) / 111(7)/ 112(2)/ 305(e)/ 318(3)/ 318(4) of BNS, 2023, R/W Section 7 of Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
3. It is submitted by the learned Public Prosecutor that charge-sheet in the case has already been submitted and the petitioner herein has been made the sole accused therein.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner shall appear before the learned trial court and file appropriate application.
5. Considering above, the present application is disposed of with the direction that the petitioner shall appear before the learned trial court within a period of 15 (fifteen) days from today and upon any bail application being filed, the same shall be considered as per law.
6. Till then, it is provided that in the event of his arrest in connection with the above-noted case, the above-named petitioner, shall be released on pre-arrest bail of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) only with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the arresting authority with following condition: (a) That the petitioner shall not hamper with the investigation, or tamper with the evidence of the
Page No.# 3/3 case; (b) That the petitioner shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer.
7. Accordingly, this anticipatory bail petition stands disposed of.
