A S C BOSE The Court made the following Order: The present Writ Petition has been instituted by invoking the powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following main relief:- “……to issue an appropriate writ or order or direction, more particularly, one in the nature of Writ of 2 Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 1 and 2 in retaining the arrears of salary amounts of the petitioners approximately Rs 1 20 000/ in pursuance of the old warrant and order passed in EP No 171 of 2014 in Dispute Case No 10/2012 illegally in violation of the law and principles of natural justice and without authority or power nor order and consequently direct the respondents to release the arrears of salary amounts to the petitioners as retained and pass….” 2. The conception of the Writ Petitioner is that respondent Nos.1 and 2 authorities are retaining the arrears of salary of the petitioners which is approximately Rs.1,20,000/-, in pursuance of the case filed in the year 2014. 3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri S.Harsha, learned counsel representing Sri A.S.C. Bose, learned Standing Counsel for RINL reported that as of today, there are no arrears pending with respondent Nos.1 and 2 in respect of the petitioners herein are concerned. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit by recording the submission of learned Standing Counsel, the present Writ Petition may be closed. 3 5. Recording the submission made by learned Standing Counsel for RINL, the Writ Petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioners to ventilate their grievance, if any, if contra is proved. No order as to costs.
