Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:31323 Court No. - 5 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 2777 of 2025 Petitioner :- Km. Saroj Devi Respondent :- State of U.P. and Another Counsel for Petitioner :- Sanjay Kumar Verma Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Manoj Kumar Srivastava Hon'ble Ajay Bhanot,J. The petitioner claims that family pension of her deceased father to which she is entitled has not been disbursed to her. She has made a representation in this regard but to no avail. The only prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is that representation of the petitioner regarding disbursal of family pension may be decided within a stipulated period of time. Shri Manoj Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the respondent no. 2 submits that the matter requires determination of facts by the competent authority as per law in the first instance. However, he fairly contends that service benefits/claim is liable to be decided by the competent authority in a reasonable time frame. In light of the aforesaid submissions and without going into the merits of the case, the respondent no. 2 is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner for disbursal of family pension as per law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh copy of the representation. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is finally disposed of. Order Date :- 5.3.2025 Dhananjai Digitally signed by :- DHANANJAI High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
