NC: 2025:KHC:17028-DB WP No. 12567 of 2025 ORAL JUDGMENT (PER: HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ANU SIVARAMAN) The prayer raised in the writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider a representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 12.04.2025. The prayer in the representation preferred before the second respondent is for opening registration window for the NEET Examination to give the petitioner an opportunity to make his application. The petitioner contends that the window for making an application was closed on 07.03.2025 as specifically provided by the respondents by Annexure-A- Notice. It is contended that the petitioner had been preparing for the NEET-PG Examination for nearly two years, but that his attempts to register online for the NEET-UG examinations was not successful, because of unavoidable technical issues resulting in failure to register for the examinations. 2. It is contended that he had filed a representation on 12.04.2025 which was replied on 13.04.2025 as evidenced by Annexure-D. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is a meritorious student and it was only due to technical glitches, he was unable to register for the NEET within

NC: 2025:KHC:17028-DB WP No. 12567 of 2025 the time provided. It is further contended that he had made representation in the month of April, 2025 before the respondents which were not considered by the second respondent. 3. Learned DSGI appearing for the respondents on the other hand contends that the dates for opening the Registration Window as well as the specific date on which it would be closed i.e., 07.03.2025 was specifically notified to all candidates. It is further contended that about thousands of candidates have registered for the NEET-UG Examination within the time provided i.e., from 07.02.2025 to 07.03.2025. It is submitted that Annexure-A-notice is also required the candidates to register well within time to avoid last minute rush. 4. Having considered the contentions advanced as well as the reasons stated in the writ petition, we are of the opinion that the prayer raised in the writ petition to direct the second respondent to consider the representations preferred by the petitioner and to open the Registration Window for him cannot be granted by this Court in this proceedings.
It is not the

NC: 2025:KHC:17028-DB WP No. 12567 of 2025 petitioner's case that there was no time available for making the Registration as required in the brochure. 5. In any view of the matter, we are of the opinion that the prayers as sought for cannot be granted. The writ petition therefore fails, the same is accordingly dismissed.
