ORDER 19.12.2025
This is an application filed seeking an additional 30 days time to comply with the order dated 24.11.2025 passed by this Court in WP(C)No.6613/2025 for depositing an amount of Rs.63,25,935.52p. 2. This Court had enquired with Mr. A Sarma, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant as to why the petitioner could not deposit the said amount in terms with the order dated 24.11.2025. It was submitted that this is the lean period in the tea industry and there is no funds coming. 3. This Court can very well take judicial notice of the fact that in view of the Tea Board Circular, the lean period for the Tea Industries in Assam starts from the late part of November, till the second week of March. 4. There is no materials placed before this Court as to how the petitioner under such circumstances would be in a position to deposit the said amount within a period of 30(thirty) days. 5.
Taking into account the above, this Court does not find any good ground to extend the interim order dated 24.11.2025. 6. Accordingly, the instant application stands rejected. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
