The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for compassionate appointment on the ground that the father of the petitioner died on 03.06.1995. 3. It is stated in the writ affidavit that an application was filed seeking appointment on compassionate. However, the petitioner has not filed any copy of such application, nor submitted any documents to show as to when the said application was filed. 4. The 3rd respondent filed counter-affidavit, stating that the petitioner is not entitled for compassionate appointment, since her mother was working as a Secondary Grade Teacher. However, it does not appear if any orders have been passed by the respondents on the application submitted by the petitioner. 5. Having regard to the above, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the application made for compassionate appointment in accordance with law, if no orders have already been passed, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
