- 2 - Korfball Championship held at Ahmedabad w.e.f. 04.12.2014 to 07.12.2014, securing 1st position.
3.
The only reliance of the petitioner in support of the claimed relief is upon Himachal Pradesh Swarnim Jayanti Sports Policy, 2021 (Annexure P-12). However, learned senior counsel for the petitioner has not been able to demonstrate the justifiability of the relief claimed by the petitioner even after specifically pressing into service para 12.1 of the scheme, which, inter-alia, states that “Minimum eligibility for availing 3% sports quota will be enhanced to five senior National participation in recognized tournaments.” Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submitted that respondents have also de-recognized the game of Korfball for the purpose of recruitment in the State Government jobs. There is no challenge to such alleged decision of the State Government, which is not even placed on record.
4.
Faced with above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition at this stage with liberty to file a fresh petition in accordance with law with proper pleadings. Granting such liberty, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
