2. This Court, vide order dated 29.11.2024, passed in MCRC No. 6932 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the petitioner, namely, Anuj Vishwakarma, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a VAIBHAV SINGH Digitally signed by VAIBHAV SINGH Date: 2025.06.17 19:45:37 +0530
2 period of 06 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment.
3. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Kabirdham (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 23.05.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial.
4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in the present case, by 02/06/2025 by MCRC No. 6932 of 2024, Anuj Vishwakarama versus State of Chhattisgarh, Order Date 29.11.2024. A list of 17 witnesses has been submitted by the prosecution as per the trial program, out of which the evidence of 14 witnesses has been completed. The evidence of three witnesses of the case, Kewaldas, Head Constable Satish Upadhyay and Investigating Officer / Sub-Inspector Rajeshwar Singh Thakur is yet to be taken. The bailable warrant and arrest warrant issued to Panch witness Kewaldas are being received back from the court with a note of ill health, similarly, due to the transfer of important witness Investigating Sub-Inspector Rajeshwar Singh Thakur, the summons and bailable warrants issued to him are not being taken and even after the arrest warrant was served through radio message, the witness did not appear before the court and even after the arrest warrant issued to the witness Head Constable Satish Upadhyay was served through radio message, the witness did not appear before the court. The evidence of the said witnesses is very important for the just resolution of the case. Every possible effort is being made to make the said witnesses present for evidence so that the case can be resolved as soon as possible Due to this reason, it is not possible to conclude the trial within the time prescribed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant some more time for concluding the trial.
5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is

directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three months from today.
6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
7. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance.
