Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Taljhari P.S. Case No. 30 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 340(2), 61(2), 338 & 3(5) of B.N.S and Sections 66 (B), 66(C) & 66(D) of I.T. Act, pending in the court of Sri Aditya, learned J.M., 1st class, Dumka.
On 16.05.2025 at about 2:10 p.m., Taljhari Police on the basis of confidential information that cyber criminals have assembled near Hettinghara hills, raided the place of occurrence and apprehended the portioner alongwith co-accused persons. On search, three mobile phones were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
It was submitted that police have not recorded the statement of any victim in this case. It was further submitted that no victim has been charge- sheeted as a witness in the case.
Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has got criminal antecedent.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Aditya, learned J.M., 1st class, Dumka, or his successor, in connection with Taljhari P.S. Case No. 30 of 2025.
