GP FOR HOME 2 The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the high handed action of the respondents 4 and 5 in interfering with the civil disputes between the petitioners and respondents 6 and 7, threatening the petitioners with criminal cases and harassing them by calling them to the police station without any legal authority, as illegal high handed, arbitrary and violation of fundamental rights guaranteed to the petitioners under Articles 14, 21 and 300A of Constitution of India with a consequential direction to the respondents not to threaten the petitioners and not to interfere with the civil disputes between the petitioners and respondents 6 and 7 by calling them to the police station except accordance with law.” 2. Sri Habibulla Shaik, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that the Respondent – Police are interfering with the civil disputes between the Petitioners and Respondent Nos.4 and 5 and are harassing by calling them to the Police Station. 3. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that, based on the complaint given by Respondent No.6 against the Petitioners, the Respondents - Police called the Petitioners to the Police Station on 09.06.2025 and on enquiry, as the matter pertains to a money dispute and is of civil nature, the Police advised both 3 parties to resolve their issue through Court of Law and the Petitioners were never ill-treated and were never harassed by the Police. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
