Mr. Imrul Hassan ORDER The case is taken up before the National Lok Adalat. The appellant, Oriental Insurance Company Limited, is represented by its duly authorized officials, namely, Mr. R. K. K. Sinha, Regional Manager, and R. C. Pathak, Manager. Mr. M. Khan, learned counsel, appears on behalf of the claimants and is present along with claimant No. 1, namely, Mariyam Bibi. It is submitted that the total awarded amount is Rs. 10,50,000/- (Rupees ten lakhs fifty thousand) only. After negotiation, both the parties have mutually agreed to settle the matter for a sum of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees ten lakhs) only Page No.# 5/5 as a full and final settlement of the claim. Accordingly, the appellant/Oriental Insurance Company Limited is hereby directed to deposit the said settled amount of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees ten lakhs) only before the Registry of this Court within 1 (one) month from the date of the order. The claimant No. 1, namely, Mariyam Bibi, shall be entitled to receive Rs. 6,00,000/- (Rupees six lakhs) only, and the claimant No. 2, namely, Omor Ali, and the claimant No. 3, namely, Umed Ali, shall be entitled to receive a sum of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rupees two lakhs) only each. Accordingly, the claimant No. 1, Mariyam Bibi; claimant No. 2, Omor Ali; and claimant No. 3, Umed Ali, are permitted to withdraw their respective shares of the amount, which will be deposited by the Insurance Company before the Registry of this Court, upon proper verification and identification. Registry to refund the statutory deposit of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) only to the appellant/Insurance Company. The appeal, along with the interlocutory applications, stand disposed of in terms above. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
