The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Bagodar PS Case No.56 of 2025, for offence registered under section 292, 274, 275 of BNS, 2023and section 47A of Excise Act, pending in court of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Giridih. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is owner of the truck in question and the allegation is made that 475.2 liters of English wine was being carried on the said vehicle and he submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.9 of the petition. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent State has opposed the prayer and submits that allegations are there that 475.2 liters of English wine was being carried on the said vehicle. 5. Considering that the petitioner is the owner of the vehicle in question and he has got no criminal antecedent as aforesaid and the truck was driven by the driver, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within three weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Giridih, in connection with Bagodar PS Case No.56 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
