The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sitaramdera P.S. Case No. 145 of 2024, for the offences registered under Section 20(b) (ii)(B) of N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge-cum- Special Judge, NDPS, Jamshedpur. It was submitted that on 23.10.2024 at about 08:30 pm, Sitaramdera Police raided the house of the father of the petitioner namely Shiv Shankar Sah and 07.566 kgs of cannabis were recovered from there. It was submitted that petitioner has been made accused in this case just because the fact that she was residing in the same house. It was further submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and the quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, NDPS, Jamshedpur, in connection with Sitaramdera P.S.
