Ms. Nena Halflongbar represent the New India Assurance Company Ltd. The original awarded amount of Rs. 12,78,000/- along with the interest of Rs 83,000/- has already been paid to the claimants/ appellant. This appeal has been settled for an additional amount of Rs. 7,50,000/-. The additional amount of Rs. 7,50,000/- shall be deposited by the insurer before the MACT, Sonitpur, within a period of 45 days, in which event, it shall not carry any further interest. On the deposit amount, the same shall be released as agreed to by all the claimants in favour of Ms. Sunita Orang w/o Late Biswanath Orang, on proper identification.
