The claim made in this writ petition is for a direction to provide the retirement benefits (regular pension, gratuity etc.) to the petitioner, who had retired on 31.12.2021 as Superintending Engineer (Civil), PWRD, Assam. Mr. Sarma, learned Standing counsel, Accountant General, Assam submits that the department has already finalized the pension and gratuity of the petitioner by authorizing ePPO & eGPO on 14.11.2025 to the Treasury Officer, Dibrugarh for making payment to the petitioner. In view of the above, the writ petition has become infructuous and accordingly, stands closed.
