The petitioners are challenging the provisional seniority list issued vide Letter No. 3154 dated 02.08.2024. It is the case of the petitioners that the juniors have been made seniors in the provisional seniority list. 3. It is also admitted by the petitioners that they have approached the authority by filing the representations by raising the grievance and the objections. 4. A provisional seniority list is published only to seek objections. The same is not final. Admittedly, the list is yet to be finalized and the representation/objection of the petitioners is pending before the authorities. 5. Thus, this writ petition is premature. Since, the grievance of the petitioner by way of objection is pending before the respondents, the respondents should consider the same before publishing the final seniority list.
