Jinita, learned counsel for the respondent/writ petitioner. [2] By MC(El.Pet.) No. 22 of 2025, the returned candidate proposed to file certified copies of the documents which are already on record. It is submitted that true copies of Annexure-B/1, B/2, B/3, B/4, B/5 & B/6 (Colly) were annexed along with written statement by the applicant in the election petition as certified copies were not available at that time. [3] By the present application, the applicant is praying for seeking permission to file certified copies of these documents and by doing so, no new case will be made out and no new material facts have been introduced. The present application is for substituting the true copies by certified copies. [4] Ms. Y. Jinita, learned counsel for the election petitioner, submits that this Court may pass an appropriate order. [5] Considering the submissions made at the Bar and since Annexure-B/1, B/2, B/3, B/4, B/5 & B/6 (Colly) have already been on record and by the application, only the certified copies of the same are sought to be placed on record and by doing so, no new material facts are introduced, the application is, accordingly, allowed. [6] The applicant is permitted to file certified copies of Annexure-B/1, B/2, B/3, B/4, B/5 & B/6 (Colly) in the main election petition.
