The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kharsawan P.S. Case No. 78 of 2023, S.T. Case No.128 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 302/201 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Session Judge, Seraikella. Petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased Basanti Mudi, who was murdered in her matrimonial home. It is alleged that petitioner had given a rod blow on the head of the deceased, due to which, she succumbed to her injury. Petitioner happens to be the main assailant of the deceased and the occurrence had taken place in her matrimonial home. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
