This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying Page No.# 2/2 for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused/petitioner, viz., Bikramjit Nath in connection with Dhubri P.S. Case No.333/2025 registered under Sections 61(2)/318(4)/316(2)/318(3)/338 of the BNS, 2023. The allegation as contained in the F.I.R. is that the petitioner, who is the President of Matirchar High School has withdrawn an amount of Rs.11,78,000/- from the Account of the School at Panjab National Bank, Dhubri by forging the signature of the informant, who is the Inspector of Schools, DDC, Dhubri and was the In-Charge Secretary of the School. Upon perusal of the Case Diary sufficient material is found against the present petitioner and therefore, considering the facts and circumstances, this Court is of the opinion that this is not a fit case for grant of pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the prayer for pre-arrest bail stands rejected. The interim order dated 21.11.2025 hereby stands vacated. Return the Case Diary. The Anticipatory Bail Application stands disposed of.
