Deuri, learned counsel for the petitioners and also heard Mr. R. J. Baruah, learned Addl. P.P. for the State. 2. This petition under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the accused-petitioners, namely, 1. Sri Pranab Dhar @ Bapan, 2. Amir Ali, 3. Md. Lal Chan Ali, 4. Nur Chand Ali, 5. Barek Ali, 6. Sri Rajib Tarafdar, 7. Sri Arpan Tarafdar praying for grant of bail in connection with Jogighopa P.S. Case No.108/2025 under Sections 103(1) of BNS, 2023. 3. The seven petitioners herein were arrested on 06.10.2025 in connection with Jogighopa P.S. Case no. 108/2025, under Section 103(1) of BNS, 2023. The case arose out of an FIR dated 25.09.2025 lodged by the brother of the deceased with the allegation that on the previous date some passengers hired his Vehicle, vehicle bearing Registration No. AS14 H 6766. But on the next morning he came to know that his brother was killed by some miscreants and his death body left along with the vehicle. The petitioners were arrested during Page No.# 3/3 investigation. 4. Mr. Deuri, learned counsel for the petitioner has fairly taken the Court through the forwarding report containing the grounds of arrest. It has been stated in the grounds of arrest that one co-accused Pranab Dhar had engaged some other persons namely, Nur Chand Ali, Md. Lal Chan Ali, Amir Ali and Barek Ali to kill the victim. Nevertheless, the case diary is also received. 5. It is also submitted by learned Addl. P.P. that the FSL report received and indicates death by strangulation, the statement of the Crime Scene Officer has been pointed out and it is submitted that the Crime Scene recreation has tallied with the materials pertaining to the CDR analysis. 6. At this stage, it may not be prudent to grant bail in the circumstance. 7. Accordingly, the bail petition stands rejected at this stage. 8. Returned back the case diary. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
