The challenge in this petition is to the order dated 13.05.2025 (Annexure P- 1) passed by Respondent No.4 whereby, the Petitioner was called upon to submit his written statement of defence within three days from the date of NARESH KUMAR KAMDE Digitally signed by NARESH KUMAR KAMDE Date: 2025.05.30 12:25:02 +0530 2 receipt of the said order. By the said order, the Petitioner was also required to explain as to (i) whether he requires an enquiry, (ii) whether he requires any oral hearing and (iii) whether he wants to produce any documents in his defence. 2. At the outset, learned counsel for petitioner submits that he would make a limited prayer that the present Writ Petition may be disposed of by extending the time limit prescribed in the impugned order dated 13.05.2025 (Annexure P-1) and the Petitioner may be permitted to raise all such grounds in his defence before Respondent No.4-Chief Executive Officer, Jila Panchayat, Kanker, District North Bastar Kanker to which, learned State Counsel has no objection. 3. Considering the limited prayer made by learned Counsel for the petitioner and further considering that too short time of three days only was granted to the petitioner to submit reply, in the interest of justice, the prayer made by the counsel for petitioner is allowed and petitioner is permitted to submit the reply to the show cause notice dated 13.05.2025 (Annexure P-1) within further period of 7 days from today before respondent No.4. In the event petitioner submits reply as directed, the same shall be considered while deciding the enquiry proceedings. 4. With the aforesaid direction and observation, the instant petition stands disposed of. 5. Consequently, all the pending applications also stand disposed of.
