GUNESHWAR SHARMA Order 10.12.2025 [1] Present Mr. M. Rendy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. RK. Emily, learned Dy. G.A. for the State respondent. [2] It is submitted that the matter has been settled in the mediation proceeding dated 05.12.2025. The medication proceeding is reproduced as: “Settlement Agreement Imphal, 5th December, 2025 Terms of Settlement: 1. The Respondents No. 2 i.e. the Managing Director, Manipur State power Distribution Company limited (MSPDCL) agree to pay the Petitioner a sum of Rs. 4,50,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) towards full and final settlement of all claims raised by the Petitioner in the subject matter. 2. The said payment shall be made within one (1) month from the date of execution of this Settlement Agreement. 3. The Respondents shall transfer the aforesaid amount directly into the bank account of the Petitioner, the details of which shall be furnished by the Petitioner in writing to the Respondents immediately upon execution of this Settlement Agreement. 4. Upon receipt of the aforesaid amount, the Petitioner acknowledges and agrees that the payment constitutes full and final settlement of all claims, demands, and disputes arising out of or relating to the subject matter of the present proceedings. 5. All parties agree that the matter stands resolved arising from the writ petition and no further claims/ disputes /proceedings shall be raised in respect of the same subject matter/issue in future. 6. This Agreement shall be binding upon and enforceable against the parties, their successors, representatives, and assigns.” [3] It is submitted that the writ petition may be disposed of in terms of the mediation proceeding. [4] This Court has perused the settlement arrived at the mediation proceeding. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of in terms of the mediation proceeding dated 05.12.2025.
