JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH ORDER 24.11.2025 Heard Mr. MR Khandakar, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. Mr. B Gogoi, the learned counsel appears on behalf of the sole respondent. 2. The present application has been filed alleging willful and deliberate violation of the order dated 29.01.2025 passed in WP(C)No.401/2025 whereby the learned Coordinate Bench of this Court had directed the Commissioner and Secretary, Govt. of Assam, PWRD to consider the representation dated 06.01.2025 and dispose of the same by passing a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of 2(two) months of the date of receipt of the certified copy of the order. 3. Mr. B Gogoi, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the sole respondent has placed before this Court the order dated 01.11.2025 of the Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Estt-B Branch (Confidential Cell) PWRD, which reveals that the representation so submitted by the petitioner has been disposed of. 4. The said order is kept on record and marked with the letter ‘X’. 5. Taking into account the above, the order dated 29.01.2025 passed in WP(C)No.401/2025 has been duly complied with, for which, the contempt proceedings stands dropped. Page No.# 3/3 6. Before parting with the records, this Court observes that the dropping of the instant proceedings shall not prejudice or preclude the petitioner to assail the order dated 01.11.2025, if so advised.
