There is a delay of 74 days in filing an application seeking leave to file an appeal against the judgment of acquittal dated 16.07.2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jammu in case titled “State Vs. Jarnail Singh and another”. The application is not seriously contested by respondents and, therefore, the same is allowed for the reasons stated therein and the delay of 74 days is accordingly condoned. 2. The application is, accordingly, disposed of. Crl LP (D) No. 41/2025 1. This is an application seeking leave of this Court to file appeal against the judgment of acquittal dated 16.07.2025(supra). 2. We have gone through the judgment impugned and are of the view that the debatable questions of fact and law are involved. 3. It is a fit case for grant of leave to file appeal. The application, is, therefore, allowed and leave to file acquittal appeal is granted. 4. Registry to diarize the appeal and list for consideration on 07.02.2026.
