PUBLIC PROSECUTOR 2 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE B V L N CHAKRAVARTHI CRIMINAL APPEAL NO: 461 OF 2025 The Court made the following Order: Heard Sri D.Purna Chandra Reddy, learned counsel for the appellants/A1 to A3 and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent State. 2. The present Appeal is filed under Section 14(A) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 challenging the order dated 13.06.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.142 of 2025 on the file of the learned IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tirupati whereby and whereunder, the application filed by the petitioners/A1 to A3 under Section 483 of BNSS seeking to enlarge them on bail was dismissed. 3. Initially, FIR was registered on 19.05.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 127(4), 127(7), 146 read with 3(5) BNS, 3(1)(h), 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Section 16 of the Bonded Labor System (Abolition) Act, 1976, Section 75 of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015. Later during investigation, the Police added Section 103(1) BNS 3 since the body of the deceased was found under suspicious circumstances i.e., buried at Palar River Bank, Punjai Arasan Thangal Village, Kancheepuram Taluk, Kancheepuram District and post-mortem report reveal that the death is a homicide on account of head injury using a heavy weapon. 4. The facts and circumstances, prima facie would show that the deceased was working with the petitioners for the last time. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court did not find any reason to interfere with the order of the learned trial Court, at this stage of investigation. 6. Accordingly, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed. Interlocutory applications, if any, pending shall stand closed. ______________________________ JUSTICE B.V.L.N.
