Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.5 apprises the Court that gratuity stands released in favour of the petitioner and as far as pension is concerned, for the want of the option of the petitioner as to whether the petitioner wants pension under the Old Pension Scheme, the office is not in a position to release the pension in favour of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the light of the contents of the judgment, the petitioner has already deposited the due dividend and therefore, now there should not be any impediment in the release of the pension in her favour. Learned counsel further submits that it is evident as per the act of the petitioner that she has opted the release of the pension under the Old Pension Scheme. 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?

In the light of this development, these proceedings are closed with the direction that the pension of the petitioner be released to her by construing that she has already opted for the Old Pension Scheme and now the release of the pension in favour of the petitioner should not be delayed. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
