KALAVA SURESH KUMAR REDDY ( SC FOR MC RAYAL REGION, NELLORE) 2 The Court made the following Order: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief/s:- “…to issue a Writ, or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents Nos.2 to 5 highhandedly trying to demolish the house bearing D.No.20-3-355, Sy.No.484/4, Siva Jyothi Nagar, Revenue Ward No.20, Tirupati, Tirupati District., on the ground that the respondents Nos.2 to 5 want to lay a road through my subject property without issuance of any notice or paying compensation as per Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, consequently direct the respondents, more particularly respondents Nos.2 to 5 not to demolish house bearing D.No.20- 3-355, Sy.No.484/4, Siva Jyothi Nagar, Revenue Ward No.20, Tirupati, Tirupati District., without following due process of law, pending disposal of the Writ petition before this Honourable court, and pass such other order or orders…” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that interim order was granted by this Court on 19.07.2023, directing the respondents not to demolish the house of the petitioner bearing D.No.20-3-355, Sy.No.484/4, Siva Jyothi Nagar, Revenue Ward No.20, Tirupati, Tirupati District. Subsequently, as there is a threat of demolition, C.C.No.5049 of 2023 was filed alleging violation of interim order. In the counter-affidavit filed by the respondents therein, it was stated that the road was laid without touching the house of the petitioner and C.C.No.5049 of 2023 was closed on 07.03.2025. 3. In that view, as the grievance of the petitioner is redressed, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
