Counsel for NREGS This Court delivered the following JUDGMENT: (per NJS,J) The present Writ Appeal is preferred against the orders passed by the learned Single Judge in Writ Petition No.14783 of 2025, dated

3. The
learned counsel for the appellants/writ petitioners made
submissions inter alia contending that the learned Single Judge ought not to have dismissed the writ petition at the stage of admission without inviting a counter from the respondent No.4 and further by assuming jurisdiction though the learned Single Judge is not having the roster.
4. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondent No.4 while drawing the attention of this Court to the Proceedings dated 07.12.2024 of the respondent No.4, states that pending enquiry into the charges leveled against the appellants/writ petitioners, their services were temporarily suspended and that they had already submitted explanation on 08.5.2025 and the matter is pending examination.
5. In the light of the above stated position, this Court, instead of examining the matter by admitting the appeal, deems it appropriate to dispose of the same, providing that the respondent No.4 shall take steps for expeditious disposal of the Proceedings, which are pending against the appellants/ writ petitioners after giving due opportunity of hearing. The appellants/ writ petitioners are at liberty to raise all the grounds before the respondents by way of additional explanation, if they advised. are so
6. With the above observations, the Writ Appeal is disposed of. No
order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
