HRTC Vs. Satya Devi and Ors. FAO No.42 of 2003 25.09.2025 Present: Mr. Raman Jamalta, Advocate, for the non- applicant/appellant. Mr. K.S. Dhaulta, Advocate, for the applicant/respondents. CMP No.22399 of 2025 Heard counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings. Previously applicant-Geeta was being represented in the proceedings by her guardian on account of her age (minor). Present application has been preferred by Smt. Geeta stating therein that she has attained the age of majority. The said fact is evident from the Parivar Register and birth certificate appended along with application. From the documents appended along with the present application, it is evident that the applicant has attained the age of majority and has moved the present application, which is duly supported by an affidavit, she is permitted to pursue the present matter in her own capacity. In view thereof, present application is allowed and the guardian previously appointed, is discharged from acting as a natural guardian of applicant. Power of Attorney on behalf of the applicant stands filed. Application stands disposed of. CMP No.22400 of 2025 No reply is intended to be filed on behalf of the non-applicant. Non-applicant has no objection, if in case the present application is allowed and the amount lying deposited in the Registry of this Court is ordered to be released in favour of the applicant, as is being sought by the applicant. The appeal, in the case at hand, was decided by the Coordinate Bench of this Court on 15.12.2004. Learned counsel for the parties submit that there are no further proceedings pending against the same in the Apex Court. Other than the aforesaid, for the reasons mentioned in the application, application is allowed and amount lying deposited in the Registry of this Court is ordered to be released in favour of the applicant along with the upto date interest accrued thereupon. The same be remitted in the bank account of the applicant, details whereof have been given in para 10 of the application, subject to proper verification of her identity.
