This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:

“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of Respondents, particularly Respondent No. 3 in failing to initiate further action for conducting the investigation and filing the charge sheet in FIR No.139/2025, dated 10.03.2025 on the file of 3rd respondent registered against the Respondent Nos.4 and 5 for the offence u/sec. 74, 75(1), 76, 64(1) r/w 62, 351(2), 79 r/w 3(5) BNS, as illegal, irregular, irrational and amounts to non discharge of legal obligation conferred on the respondents under the provisions of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and violative of Article 14 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent No. 3 to forthwith investigate the offence and file the Charge Sheet in FIR No. 139/2025, dated 10.03.2025 by initiating appropriate action as against the Respondent Nos.4 and 5 as per provisions of B.N.S.S. expeditiously.”

Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that there is no negligence in conducting investigation of the above crime and the same will be completed as early as possible. 3. Sri Kareemulla Shaik, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit, the Court may pass appropriate orders. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
Police are directed to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible and file report in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
