The case of the prosecution is that on 20.10.2020 at around 1:00 P.M., Nampalli Mastanaiah @ Bujji committed suicide by hanging himself in his tailor shop near Indian Overseas Bank, Gandhipeta, Chilakaluripet town. His brother, the complainant Nampalli Mastanaiah, reported the incident at 5:00 P.M. on the same day at Chilakaluripet Town Police Station. The complaint alleged that the deceased had an illicit relationship with one Nagurbi of Sattenapalli. Subsequently, Nagurbi, along with her relatives and mediators demanded money from the deceased’s family to end the relationship. They allegedly threatened to defame the family and forced the deceased to end his life if he could not pay. Based on the report of the complainant, a case was registered in against the petitioner/accused No.3 and others. 3. Ms.Swathi Palleboyina, the learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner is a lady; the petitioner has not committed any offence; she was falsely implicated in this case and urged to grant pre- arrest bail to the petitioner/Accused No.3. 3 Dr. YLR, J Crl.P.No.7197 of 2025 Dated 21.07.2025 4. Per contra, Ms.P.Akila Naidu, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, opposed in granting of pre-arrest bail stating that investigation is not yet completed; if the petitioner is granted pre-arrest bail, she will repeat the same offence and urged to dismiss the bail application. 5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.Perused the record. 6. As seen from the record, there are specific allegations leveled against the petitioner/Accused No.3, who maintained an extra-marital relationship with the deceased and demanded the deceased to part with an amount of Rs.5,00,000/- to end his extra-marital relationship with petitioner and not to divulge the extra-marital relationship with any others. 7. In view of the specific overt acts attributed against the petitioner/Accused No.3, there are no merits in the present Criminal Petition, and this Court does not deem it fit to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner/Accused No.3. 8.
