JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR MEDHI ORDER 13.12.2025 This is an appeal filed by the claimant-appellant against the Award dated 08.02.2019 passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Sivasagar (for short MACT, Sivasagar) in MAC Case No. 14/2016. Ms. Hena Haflongbar, Assistant Manager of The New India Insurance Assurance Company Ltd. (Insurance Company) and the claimant-Ms. Eli Nayak along with her learned counsel, Shri BR Das are present today i.e., 13.12.2025 in the National Lok Adalat. Page No.# 3/3 The parties present jointly submit that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and an additional lump sum amount Rs. 2,80,000/- (Rupees two lakhs eighty thousand) only as full and final settlement has been agreed upon. In view of the above, the appeal stands closed with a direction that the Insurance Company shall deposit the aforesaid amount Rs. 2,80,000/- (Rupees two lakhs eighty thousand) being the full and final settlement directly to the bank account, being A/C No.35545402826 and IFC Code No.SBIN0009191 maintained by the claimant with the State Bank of India, Mathurapur Branch within a period of 45 days from today.
