The petitioner has invoked inherent jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for a mandate to the respondents to conclude investigation in case FIR No. 266/2021 for offences under Sections 307, 452, 382 and 109 IPC of Police Station, Mendhar. As per status report filed by the official respondents on 05.09.2023, investigation of the impugned FIR has been concluded and the final report in this respect is required to be filed.
Since investigation of the case stands completed, hence, the present petition is disposed of as infructuous. Official respondents shall be at liberty to file the charge sheet as per law.
